It’s always fun to compare yourself to previous years. We are able to keep raising the bar. We have a significant injection of capital that is allowing us to make the leap.
These days are usually crazy in terms of turnover year after year. Every time you refresh the sales page, 2-5 new sales have come in. Black Week this year caught me by surprise. I had no idea how it would start. All I saw was that suddenly one morning we had already sold three times more than the previous days in November.
Then, one day late, when we had the team meeting
We compared the figures. In 2022, we had uae whatsapp number data reached 4k in turnover on the first day of Black Week. This year, it was more than 8k. We managed to double that with a little less ROI. It’s a topic I haven’t decided 100% yet, but one thing is becoming increasingly clear to me. We need focus. I’ve never been a fan of the phrase “less is more” but in this context it may be accurate. We have gold in our hands and we shouldn’t be distracted by other things that aren’t up to par or at least are still in the phases further away from proving that they can get there.
Now that we have Confluence
we have gone up a lot in terms of documenting accounting instructions for processing invoices with processes and meetings. We are still a long way from where we should be, but at least we have made a start that already marks an important change. I have noticed that when you talk to manufacturers in China, everything you say in the chat gets lost. Then aero leads you have to search for what you agreed with them with endless scrolls in the conversations of the last few months. This is not productive because both the manufacturer and you will forget important details. That is why we have started to document precisely what we need in Confluence.
That is our source of truth.
From there we extract a PDF that we pass on to the Chinese manufacturer.
If I add up all of Amazon’s activities, we are steadily billing >12k each day. These are by far the best figures we have ever seen.
The best thing of all? In our main account we are having a significant weight with our own products. This makes me think that in 2024 we can raise the bar a little more to reach 800k in turnover. It is still early but we have done a good job so far.
The road is still long. We’ll see.
