I am sure that our family will be very happy with their Easter gifts this year because we chose Easter eggs made of wool.
In this article you will learn how you can make Easter eggs out of wool.
Easter eggs made of wool
It’s probably no secret anymore: Easter eggs made of wool are a really cool gift and souvenir for Easter, perfect as an Easter nest to decorate.
There is also the idea of filling wool Easter eggs with sweets without cutting the egg, but I didn’t want to do that. I wanted to make large wool Easter eggs and use them as table decorations like a pretty Easter nest .

materials
For Easter eggs made of wool you need the following materials:
Cotton – I still had the set of 20 from Pro Lana * lying around in the box.
Glitter * – To make your Easter eggs EVEN more beautiful. Ideal, of course, if you have the right glitter for the color of the wool. But black wool and gold glitter also looks really cool!
String, rubber bands or anything to hang the balloons up to dry later.
Scissors – And good ones. Get ones that are smaller rather than larger. It will be easier to cut later.
Large, flat bowl, deep plate or similar for the glue
Something to stir with, such as a chopstick, spoon or similar.
Lots of newspaper or a suitable pad
Glue or paste (please read on)

Which glue?
I was a bit worried about this question. At first I simply took the hungary mobile database liquid craft glue from UHU * and bought three tubes in the shop. And then I mixed it in everywhere I had liquid glue lying around the apartment. That should be enough, I thought. But guess what! I’ve already used one or two tubes of UHU glue for one Easter egg. And I wanted to buy eight Easter eggs! I’m going to be making a fortune!
So I decided to buy wallpaper paste . But which one? Nobody at the hardware store has a clue. There’s wallpaper paste everywhere. Then there’s the normal one, then the special one and so on and so forth. I decided to go for the normal one. Should work. Guess what! It was a total fiasco!!
Just don’t use the normal Metylan paste. I calculated the amount down so I didn’t have to mix 10 liters straight away. Maybe that was my mistake – I don’t know. The stuff stuck well at first, but when the whole thing dried, the wool inside came off. I made 4 large Easter eggs with this paste. And they all ended up like this! I was extremely disappointed!

A different paste is used on kipawa.de . Try it out or just use craft shilpa kothari healthcare administrator glue to be on the safe side. The eggs I made with it had no flaws, held rock solid and were simply perfect!
